Kassie Riley still has no memory of how she first came to Earth. For all intents and purposes, she sprung fully formed from the Void as a baby and was brought to our reality by the eldritch fiend hunter Nava Pollux, and the kindness of her adoptive family caught her up on the rest. She only knows of her "heritage" because of Nava, and it was through Nava's teachings - she understood what could be done with the metamagic of dying worlds - that Kassie begun to refine her power to bend space. The last time they met, Nava said this in parting: "The Void must have created you for a reason. You have power that could one day rival a god's, but you have empathy that already exceeds a human's. Keep pushing yourself. One day, your world will need that exact combination of gifts."
That was four years ago. Pollux hasn't been seen since. But Kassie has never stopped practicing, and soon she feels she will break the three-body limit of her trademark multilocation power. But what is the logical end point of her self-improvement? Is she really a god, and if so, what will that mean to her and her friends: the hero team known as Head Count? For now, Kassie tries not to think too hard about it. After all, she's only 24 as of this June. She has a whole life of unknowns ahead of her.
(I got inspired by that bit from the movie "Lucy" where ScarJo does that thing with her hand. >.> If you've seen the film, you know the thing. So I decided to use this sketch as an excuse to practice foreshortening, and I don't think I did too too bad, but I did struggle with the proportions. Trying to convey Kassie's thicc legs from a worm's eye view is harder than it looks.)
