"Well, you can't expect me to wear skirts all the time. There's always new spells to code, new robots to build, new laws of physics to violate..."
Though Sara Meadows is more at home in the workshop than on the battlefield, she knew the fledgling team of heroes known as Head Count could use to their advantage her unique insights on metamagic; how magic itself works, and interacts with the world of the mundane. In this glamour shot she holds her crowning achievement: the Thaumatic Replicator, a combination supercomputer and cheesy Saturday morning cartoon-style ray gun (major credit to LoneStranger for that design inspiration) that draws power from pre-loaded mana batteries and mixes the energies in the quasi-chemical reactions needed to execute programmed "spells." In a way, Sara is a new class of wizard, and the Replicator is her spellbook. Who says you have to inherit special genes to have the ability to shoot fireballs at zombie hordes?
A very very very overdue design update for Sara, who had previously only been represented in that one drawing back in 2014 where she was wearing street clothes and giving the camera a nervous look. Not so nervous anymore. And with much more obvious evidence of her day job. :3
