Sometimes, when you're a part of a certain fandom, you get bored with seeing material from it over and over and over. I mean, you still love it, but it starts to look humdrum and you wanna try a different flavor. That's why I created Phoebe. No magic. No extra parts. No frills. Just a plain vanilla human from the NYC. ...Okay, so she knows karate, but that's not exactly a superhuman thing. &gt;.&gt; I wanted to RP her in a high-magic environment, though, as a way of deconstructing the "genre" and figuring out how a real human in her position might react to stumbling upon the paranormal and seeing behind the curtain of the Masquerade that Arkaden Dividre's Mage Council tries so hard to maintain. Unfortunately, the first (and only) time I ever played Phoebe, she only lasted a couple hours before her creeped-out-o-meter was full and she turned tail.<div><br /><div>But I didn't want the drawing to go to waste, so I kept it in my sta.sh. And now that I'm publishing it, I find myself wondering if circumstances could conspire to pull Phoebe back into the secret world she couldn't handle...</div></div>
