Rockie is a magical high elf who operates in a similar manner to cerberuses in the Spinnerette universe. Despite having three distinct personalities, she claims to be a single person and refers to herself as such. She's also a Pokemon trainer, employing a team of monsters who are multiheaded like herself.

Rockie showed up on dA earlier this year and began posting a bunch of edited sprites for Pokemon, including a number of them depicting herself, and just recently she began making a few simple fanarts from Heromachine and stuff. She posted one of RoMi, in fact, a couple weeks ago. It's not much, but all fanart is appreciated. ^^; Anyway, she sent me to link to her RoMi thing and asked me if she wanted to make it into an art trade. Ordinarily I wouldn't accept such a sudden offer, especially since she made her half waaaay before I even started mine. But since I kinda wanted to draw her anyway, I just shrugged and went for it. ...Well, not right away. There was that whole thing about getting started on *lonestranger's latest commission, then going up to Pennsylvania for ~manaknight14's wedding... Finally, Rockie poked me on Monday asking about this pic, and I realized I hadn't even started it yet, so I just fast-tracked her to the front of the line. >.> Don't worry, Mana and Lone, I'm getting to yours. I promise!

Anyway, I decided to go for speed in my lineart this time so I could spend more time on the coloring and environment. You could say I did all that as an apology to myself for phoning it in with the background of "RoMi Summer," and to be honest, I like this style of inking better. This way, I have an easier time drawing shapes correctly on the first try, and I end up with a look that screams "hand-drawn" at the top of its lungs. ^^ Gotta love it when I can't tell the difference between digital lineart and a pencil drawing!

I tried to go above and beyond to show the different personalities between Rockie's three heads - which she described as "brave," "smart," and "shy" respectively - and took a few liberties with the pose to try and deepen those personalities somewhat. I imagine her middle head as using her smarts to take the leader role and make most of the decisions for the trio, so I based most of the arm poses on her. I wanted her brave left head to be shown as outgoing and fun, so I had her laugh. It's just too bad Middle's ears are getting in the way a bit. ^^; Finally, the shy right head is just hanging back and being quiet. I imagine her as being very passive and content to just enjoy the company of her other selves, so the lower two arms on that side are more relaxed and defensive.

So there you go, Rockie! Hope you enjoy it! ^^

EDIT: Found and fixed a couple shading errors. Nothing major, but it was bothering me.
