Renowned throughout Tradugu and its neighboring star systems for its rich, sweet-and-spicy juices, hubu grows from a kudzu-like structure in a relatively short amount of time. As a fruit grows older, it begins to sprout little green tendrils, which will ultimately fall off and grow into new hubu plants. Hubu can be eaten raw or cooked, but one must take great care in cooking them, as they can only handle so much direct heat. Roasting a hubu over an open flame, for example, can cause the fruit to explode if not done properly. However, there are some recipes which cause or call for the intentional detonation of the fruit, as is the case with hubu pie.<br /><br />In all RPG systems, eating a hubu fruit has the same effect as drinking a basic healing potion or the closest in-game equivalent.
