Apparently, the Art folder on my computer doesn&#039;t understand the concept of changing years. Even though this is my actual latest drawing, the folder still insists in its little preview icon that the last two files I modified were the .PSD and .JPG files for "Seven," which I actually finished on December 28th. My only guess is, the algorithm that generates that preview icon thinks December always comes after January, regardless of what year the January in question fell in.<br /><br />Good job, Vista. Way to make me paranoid about my machine&#039;s functionality again. e.e Let&#039;s hope "Y2K9" doesn&#039;t affect any more important aspects of my system... *crosses fingers on all four hands*<br /><br />Anyway, I got myself in a bit of a pickle and have to do a few fanarts, requests, and trades and stuff, so... &gt;.&gt; In case you can&#039;t already predict what I&#039;m about to tell you, those are all closed. Again. Actually, they were still closed from the <i>last</i> time I said they were closed, but I guess that journal is so old that nobody got the memo anymore. &gt;.&gt;;<br /><br />And this would be the first of those gifts. ~<a class="u" href="https://lonestranger.deviantart.com/">lonestranger</a>&#039;s Sahlia for the third time. I don&#039;t think y&#039;all realize how hard she is to draw. x.x I don&#039;t care what her profile says, she&#039;s two characters, dangit!<br /><br />The superhero idea came from Lone&#039;s feelings of Sahlia being a source of strength and inspiration for him. I guess I can relate to that. ^^ Creating something does breed that sense of accomplishment one needs to hold a high self-esteem.<br /><br />I changed the way her faces look since the last incarnation. Most notably the smaller, sultrier eyes.
