Welcome to my second TGTF serial, Fade.

This story deals a lot with grief and loss, both directly, with Jordyn losing her husband, but also indirectly, as she finds Josh tied inextricably to her identity. She's going to learn just how much later in the story, but I wanted to take this first chapter to explore how when a loved one dies, it's not just the loved one that you grieve, but also the life that you and that loved one built, especially when your social life is driven by mutual friendships.
