It was supposed to be an easy lead. Kayla had gotten a tip that a group of jewel thieves were hiding out in an abandoned house nearby. Bringing Madelyn along as backup, she thought there was no way things could go awry! All she needed to do was confirm the thieves were in fact at that house, and call over the police to make the arrest.

What she hadn't considered was that this whole setup was a trap! Serves her right for following up an an anonymous tip without verifying the source. Upon their arrival, the girls were ambushed and quickly tied up inside the empty house.

"Fmmmmmph!"

Kayla rolled around on the floor, the coarse rope digging into her skin through her tights. Her mouth was sealed shut with tape, trapping both of her floral print socks inside.

"Hmmmmph!"

Madelyn shuffled around beside her, kicking her nylon clad legs up into the air as she strained in her own ropes. Her socks had been purposed into a gag as well, shoved deep into her mouth and kept in place by a few strips of tape just like Kayla.

Such was the life of a reporter, peril and mayhem around every corner. Kayla had been in much dire straits though, and had full confidence she and Madelyn would eventually get free. Those thieves weren't going to get away with this, and once Kayla was free she'd make sure of it!
