Recently, I've been chatting with
Daggerhammer about my Pathfinder character who accidentally found herself running a large-ish desert kingdom and what sorts of laws and decisions she would make as Pharaoh. We got on the subject of border controls, immigration and, most importantly, what to do with all these pesky adventurers coming to plunder the ruined desert tombs and temples. Her decision was to welcome foreign traders and even adventurers...so long as they paid all the right taxes and fees. We then got to discussing what happens to all those adventurers who think they can skip out on that and thus the idea for this picture was born...
