This started as a practice/warm up sketch, but I liked it enough to finish it out as a complete drawing. Not sure what the story behind it is. These two might be a pair of elven maids, abducted from their village by slavers, helplessly praying a party of adventurers come and rescue them. Or they could be a pair of adventurers who tried to stop the slavers but failed and have joined the slave coffle being marched across the desert to a distant market to be sold.
