The villagers had never been afraid of attackers. Their small island home was far from anywhere important and lacked any resources or wealth worth coming so far to take. The ocean's bounty was enough to sustain the islander's villages, but little else. Their one source of pride and joy were the women of the island, famed for their beauty, their singing and dancing. It was that which attracted the pirates. Without warning, the raiding fleet descended on one isolated village. The peaceful villagers, caught by surprise could put up little resistance. Dozens of women and girls were rounded up by the cruel slavers. Stripped, hands bound behind their backs, gags muffling their cries of fright and sobs of anguish, the women were herded up the gang planks and down into the dark cargo holds of the slave ships, to be carried off to a distant port and an uncertain fate on the auction block. The slavers, pleased with their catch, would return to the island, again and again, over the next few years, carrying off hundreds of island beauties to slake the slaver's lust for gold...
