Goblins

Deep underground, below even the dwarf holds of the northern mountains, lies the long, cavernous world of the Below, home to Drow, goblins and other, stranger and darker creatures. The Drow Kingdoms maintains and uneasy rulership over the larger cavern and tunnel networks, enforcing their Queen’s rulership with an iron fist. On the periphery, dozens of goblin tribes exist in thrall to the Drow, buying their right to survive with annual tithes of hundreds of goblins to the Drow slave markets, while periodic raids by the Drow warriors against independent goblin tribes also brings in its harvest of captives. The surplus of this is exported to the surface slave markets, including Three Crowns. While a goblin slave girl is not the most prestigious purchases, there are always plenty of sale at bargain prices for the discerning buyer on tight purse strings…
