Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I'm in the middle of working on a somewhat elaborate drawing. I've just about finished up the rough drafts of it, but I decided to take a short break to draw this.

Once again, summer is drawing to a close, and it's back to school for the kids of Chester Arthur High School. As with all the usual rituals that mark the beginning of a new school year, it comes time for the Freshman girls to try out for the cheerleader squad. Here at good ol' CAHS, however, the cheerleaders have a little "tradition" for selecting which girls make the cut. The hopeful teenagers are divided up amongst the older cheerleaders, each assigned to a "big sister". During the first week of school, the freshman have to do whatever their big sister tells her to do, from the mundane, carrying books and papers, to the extreme, being led around campus on a leash. For the most part, the teachers and faculty turn a blind eye to this, letting the girls keep their little traditions. After the week is done, the big sisters get to decide if they feel their girl has earned the right to take a spot on the squad...
