Archeologist Sandra Miller was working late at night, studying a recently discovered egyptain tomb. Unfortunately for her, she made the mistake of reading some of the hieroglyphics on a wall and woke up the mummies, who grabbed her, meaning to entomb her forever with them. Fortunately, before they could finish wrapping her, Sandra managed to slip away and is now hopping for the exit as fast as she can, with the angry mummies in hot pursuit...

Rough Draft of this is here: [link]

Got the idea for this one yesterday, of an unlucky explorer partially mummified hopping for all she's worth and thought it was funny enough to be worth drawing. The hardest part of this though, was the decorations on the back wall, partially because I was trying to go for a sort of perspective to make it look like she was hopping down a narrow corridor, and partially becuase I'd just gotten this cool reference book of egyptian artwork at a used bookstore and wanted to try making the pictograms actually look legitimate. I also tried some sort of shading with the torches. I'll leave it up to you to decide it that was a good thing for not.

On a personal note, only a week until I graduate High School!
