Carol glanced at the clock for what had to have been the thousandth time. To her dismay, the minute hand had moved only a slight bit. Five O’clock remained tantalizing close and still over ten minutes away. The young woman glanced around. The office was almost empty. Most of the higher ups had already left for the day, but Carol was only a lowly secretary. She knew, if she decided to skip out a few minutes ahead her boss would find out, somehow, and she’d pay for it.
With a sigh, she leaned back in her chair, running one hand through her mousy brown hair. The shoulder-length locks were tied back in a proper, professional bun at the moment. She adjusted her glasses on her nose before finishing typing up the memo to another department of the bank for her boss.
“Hey Carol!” She looked up as one of her coworkers, a pretty Asian woman named Amanda, walked up to her desk. “Looks like we’re the last two in the building. I’m gonna head out now. You coming?”
“Yeah, just give me a minute. I need to lock these files up.” Carol replied. Her boss was manager for the regional branch of the bank. Some of his papers contained very sensitive information. As his secretary, Carol was entrusted with some of them as part of her regular duties. It was her responsibility to make sure they were locked up in his office safe when she was done with them for the day. She shrugged, standing up and gathering the papers off her desk and into a folder. Putting them away would kill a few minutes and then she could leave without feeling guilty.
“Don’t take too long!” Amanda called after her. Carol nodded, walking towards the door. She walked down the hallway to the manager’s office. She flipped the light switch on, lighting up the large room. A comfortable leather couch lined one wall, for visitors waiting to speak with him. A large, dark wood desk dominated the center of the room. Carol smiled, recalling the office rumors of the things that happened on, or under depending on who was telling the story, that piece of furniture.
Behind the desk was a metal filing cabinet and beside that, a large, squat safe, painted black. Kneeling down, Carol turned the dial until she’d entered the correct combination. She turned the handle and swung the heavy steel door open. She set the file of papers inside, on top of several other similar files and began to close the door.
“Hold it! Don’t close that safe!” Carol gave a squeal of shock as a voice spoke up behind her. “Stand up, slowly, and raise your hands. We’ve already got your friend in the other room, so just do what we say.” Shaking with fright, Carol did as the man ordered. She turned around, to see a man dressed in a brown business suit standing by the door. He was holding a brown leather briefcase in his left hand. The black ski mask he had on, though, was definitely not standard office attire. Neither was the small, snub nosed revolver held in his right hand.
“Who are you?” Carol asked, her voice soft and trembling. “What do you want?”
“Who I am is not important.” The man said, gruffly. “And what I want is in that safe. Now, up against that wall!” He waved with the gun to the wall opposite the safe. “Stand there, facing the wall with your hands on your head!” Nervously, Carol did as she was ordered. She listened as he swung the safe door open again and began rifling through the papers. He stood up again, setting his briefcase on the desk. Opening it, he slid the stolen papers inside.
“Well, I have to thank you, my dear.” The man said, glancing at his watch. “You saved us the trouble of having to crack the safe ourselves. As it is, we’re running a few minutes ahead of schedule.” He grinned. “I think, then, I’d like to have a bit of fun with you, before we go. Turn around!” Slowly, Carol did so.
“You’re rather prettier then you let yourself be, if I may say.” The man said, waving his gun casually at her. “That dress for instance,” Carol was wearing a grey, sleeveless dress over a white blouse with dark stockings and flats. “It doesn’t flatter your figure at all. I think it would be better if you took it off.”
“What?” Carol said surprised. Her face flushed red. “Why?”
“Because you are a pretty girl and I want to see what you look like naked.” The man teased. “Also, I have a gun and if you don’t, I’ll shoot you.”
“When you put it like that…” Carol said, red faced. Slowly, she pulled her dress over her head and dropped it on the ground at her feet. She unbuttoned her blouse and pulled it off. Underneath, she had on a pair of white cotton panties and a black lace bra. Her captor, however, didn’t let her stop there. He ordered her to keep going until she’d removed her shoes, stockings, panties and bra. Pretty soon, she stood in front of this complete stranger in her glasses and nothing else.
“Lovely.” The man said, “Hands down, please.” Carol had raised her hands to try, in vain, to cover herself. Reluctantly, she lowered them to her sides. “Turn around, slowly, so I can look at you from every angle.” Again, the gun in his hand left her no choice. She slowly turned in place, whimpering quietly.
“Now, let’s make sure you won’t be able to call the police so soon after we leave.” The burglar said. He opened his briefcase again. From inside, he took out some rope…quite a lot of rope. Carol gave a groan of despair as he unraveled the first coil and advanced on her…
“MMMPPPHHH!!!” Carol groaned, squirming around on the floor. Her arms were bound behind her back in a tight box tie. Coils of rope encircled her chest, running above and below her breasts, keeping her arms trapped. Her legs had been folded over and lashed together, calf to thigh. Finally, a rope had been tied around her waist and the free end passed between her legs, pulled tight against her crotch. With every movement, Carol could feel its pressure against her naked sex. The last thing her captor had done was slap several strips of wide black tape over her mouth…though not before stuffing Carol’s discarded panties in first.
“Well this has been fun.” The burglar said, looking down as his helpless victim. “But now I really need to get going. Some gentleman are waiting for the files and I don’t want to disappoint them.” He turned and called through the door. “Claude! Are we ready to go?”
Another man called back. “Just about. I’m almost finished securing the young lady here.” Carol heard a woman give a muffled whimper. It seemed Amanda had fallen into the burglar’s clutches as well and now found herself in a similar predicament to Carol.
“Well, I suppose I must bid you adieu now. Hopefully we’ll met again my dear…” He turned, grabbing his briefcase and slipped out of the room, flipping off the lights and closing the door behind him as he left.
Carol groaned in frustration, rolling over. Her bonds were tight and the knots out of reach. Anything that might be used to cut them was in the desk drawers, unreachable from where she was. She wasn’t going to get free anytime soon…
“Why did this have happen at the end of the day on a Friday…” She thought, miserably…
