This is a story for
Holly-Hoyle and her 'Girl Detectives at War' story contest. This obviously takes place during the First World War and the title itself is actually a reference to something from the time, the German 'Schlieffen Plan' to invade France by attacking Belgium and invading through there. It was the invasion of Belgium that prompted British, and thus, Canadian involvement in the war. It wasn't the spark, or even a leading cause, but it is something of a reference to why Nora would have even been involved to begin with.
Hopefully this isn't too terrible and a few of you get some kind of enjoyment out of it. It's my first story in about two months. I hope it doesn't suck too bad.
