The Wish
Everything had been calm since Aurora had tried to take control of Artema. Elyn found herself relaxing almost every night, most often tied up, but on this night she simply enjoyed the balcony of her bedroom and watched the stars in the sky.
With Artema still recovering from her ordeal there hadn’t been much activity for the Guild in recent days. With a few political things to deal with during the day, Elyn had already tied herself up and enjoyed some time in the dungeon. For now she was content just watching the stars, tracing the constellation with her eyes and enjoying the chirping crickets on the ground below.
It was a peaceful, warm night and Elyn often found that nights like this would be accompanied by the presence of shooting stars. Her time in Weston taught her what they actually were but her people often thought of them as omen or a thing of magical power that could grant wishes.
