So... WOW! Check out Luna here! Another one done by Sovjann  This is what happens to those who run afoul of Nara the Blade in Esterlin...

It seems the self proclaimed Pirate Queen of Esterlin doesn't like her captives escaping...

This is from a more recent story of mine in the series, Ruling Class. This is the second story so far. Catch up on all of the first three parts, why not? Maybe? I know it's not the best but...
Ruling Class I: UnionThe salty sea breeze blew in across the sand cooling the gentle kiss of the midday sun. It’s soft breath tossed the long, wavy hair of the shorter woman she had locked eyes with. Her eyes drifted to the woman’s hair. Long, shining, a wonderful sort of mint green in colour, the Princess of Fort Quatran had the most perfect hair she had ever seen. Though she wagered her eyes were even better.
They were red but not ominous. Soft and gentle, a sweet kindness shone in them and made them bright and happy. Reaching to her face, she stroked the Princess’ beautiful face, gently caressing her perfect, ivory skin.
Her gown was long, split up the right leg, and fluttered in the sea breeze. It was green as the trees and the grass just beyond the beach. She also wore earthy brown sandals and a brown bracelet on each wrist. She felt her heart swell with pride as she grasped the princess’s hand and prepared to add her final adornment; a golden ring inlaid with a sparkling sapph
  Ruling Class II: Witchcraft
Luna approached her from the main deck and stopped beside her on the Griffin Knight’s ship. Starling, helmet resting on the deck beside her, stared out at sea and felt the cool sea breeze toss her long, red hair. She had it tied back in a ponytail but her long bangs were still tossed by the wind that propelled her ship.
“Still another day until we get to the Seven Islands. That’s where Nara’s ship was last spotted,” Starling said.
Luna leaned on the railing beside her and turned her head to look at the Griffin Knight. “That’s not what I’m asking about,” she replied.
“Well then spit out your question,” Starling said.
“Mirelle didn’t want me to ask it.”
“Well she’s not here,” Starling said. “The poor girl is speaking to the chancellor of Trivalia in your stead. I don’t envy that...”
Luna sighed. “No. Nor do I.”
With a growl under her breath, Starling’s
Ruling Class III: Towers“Please, magistrate, be reasonable,” Mirelle said, trying her best not to lose her patience. Even the sweetest of princesses had her limits, it seemed. The magistrate left in charge of the Seven Islands in Princess Meryn’s absence was nothing short of hard-headed.
He was an honourable enough man, to be certain, but he was quite bullish when it came to the other kingdoms. Before the princesses and their Guild, the monarchs of each kingdom bickered and quarrelled over just about anything. And this magistrate, appointed by Meryn herself, had seen enough of that to develop a deep mistrust of anyone outside the Seven Islands.
So when Princess Mirelle of Fort Quatran came to him with a proposal of union with her kingdom and Fivellin, he would hear none of it.
“I will be reasonable as soon as you are, Lady Mirelle,” he said, taking his seat in a tall wooden chair beside the opulent, golden throne that Meryn would have been sitting in. Mirelle had noted how the th
