Here's another unexpected one! It caught me off guard too but I had this great idea as soon as I saw that was having a contest. I just had to explore a story where Meryn and Fa'rah first met and developed their shared hatred of one another. Of course, since this is a 'Heroes and Villains' contest, it's clear here that Meryn is the Hero and Fa'rah is the Villain, as per the contest's theme.

And as with the last contest I entered, I have zero expectation of winning and I'm just happy for the challenge and fun of participating. Though, as I've heard, they're having a tough time gathering entries. It ends on the 17th of April, though so, if you want to enter, best do it quick, fellow writers!

(A.K.A. Help Bass not suck at drawing. As you may have noticed I haven't posted a drawing in over a month. I've been drawing, but everything turns out looking like a hideous monstrosity. I'd rate all my recent attempts as being on par or worse than the very first thing I uploaded here, which... let's not talk about that. I don't know if it's lack of confidence, lack of motivation, or something else. So how is a contest where the prizes are drawings from me going to help? Well I'd be INCREDIBLY embarrassed and humiliated if I promised drawings as prizes and then couldn't deliver and had to figure something else out as a reward. So I'm going to be trying twice as hard to get back to drawing at my previous level before the contest ends so I can be confident in my ability to fulfill the prizes. That being said, if you're unsure if the prize will be up to your satisfaction if you win, then don't enter the contest. I'm hoping to have at least two drawings done

Hopefully this little signal boost (not much of one, but still) will help get some more entries into this thing.
