I think the wait has been long enough. It's about time we start this dance. Here is the first part, getting the characters all introduced (apart from the baddies and one notable absence that we'll get to later) and setting up the world of Esterlin.

It's still a running theme that I like to get Taria tied up since she's so fiery and just struggles like hell. And Elyn and Lanala are just... being themselves. Meryn too, I guess. I really loved writing the proposal scene between Mirelle and Luna, too. And, of course, Jonas gets himself beat up again. So, with all that, I'd say it's situation normal.

It felt really good to get back into the swing of things. It's really been too long since I finished a story. Anyway, as I always say, thanks for reading!
