Note: This seems to be an original universe created by the person who requested the story involving their own character partnering up with Helena Harper from the Resident Evil series and Deputy Hudson from Far Cry 5. I am not terribly familiar with either series or character so please keep that in mind and go easy if my depiction of them isn’t super accurate.

“I don’t know about this, Kate. Something seems off about this whole thing.”

Hudson’s words echoed in her head the whole time she and Helena were inside this swanky little soiree at the Korlus Estate. But she insisted they get in and find what they needed.

The trio of Kate Rivers, Helena Harper and Deputy Joey Hudson had formed a private detective agency and, this time, they were after a dangerous arms dealer known to hang around the rich and powerful. Their sources led them here to Korlus Estate where they would apparently find the proof they needed of not only the arms dealer’s illicit dealings but proof of the involvement of the powerful Korlus family in funding the illegal purchase of these high powered weapons.

But Hudson seemed to think the info had come in too easy. A man claiming to be running from the group quickly told them about a party being held at the Korlus Estate and that they would ‘find what they need’ there. They wouldn’t have trusted him on just that but he presented them a picture of a secret room within the Estate where they hoarded all the guns and explosives. This was enough for Kate to get her and Helena invited to this party. Getting the chance to sneak around and dig for evidence was easier said than done, however, but they both had plenty of experience gathering intel and they were nothing if not adaptable.

As they entered, both women would occasionally hear Hudson in their ears as they kept in close contact with her. Hudson insisted on being nearby for backup in case things went pear-shaped but Kate insisted everything would be fine.

Kate, a short, pale skinned woman with shoulder length, light brown hair and soft brown eyes wore a fancy black dress to blend in to the party. A black choker necklace hugged her elegant neck and her high heels matched and completed the ensemble.

Helena Harper, the former agent of the Secret Service, chose to blend in differently. She wore a black pantsuit with tight fitting pants, flat dress shoes, and matching suit jacket on top of salmon coloured shirt and black tie.

Moving together with Kate, Helena kept her dark eyes peeled and brushed a strand of her long, dark brown hair out of her face. The estate was heavily guarded, to be certain, though most of them seemed to try hiding among the guests.

The party was held in a sort of main lobby of the Korlus estate entered via the front door. It was a huge room with a shining, marble floor and a gilded chandelier covered in sparkling crystals from the ceiling.

A wide staircase leading upward framed the room from either side, covered in a luxurious red carpet trimmed in gold. Helena noted the guards standing in pairs at both staircases and directing people away from heading up. There were also several doors leading to other parts of the estate but they, too, were flanked by guards. It seemed the Korlus family were trying to keep everyone contained to main lobby at the front door. That was enough to warrant suspicion on its own. Such heavy security, coupled with containing the party guests, definitely indicated that they had something to hide.

“So... about that plan...” Helena whispered. “Nothing in our intel indicated this level of security.”

“We improvise,” Kate said. “We need that proof. Come on.”

The pair of them blended in to the crowd, pressing their way forward and shuffling past the party guests, all the while unaware that they were being watched.

“The flies are in the web,” a tall, thin man said discreetly into his wrist, fidgeting with the cuff of his suit jacket.

An emotionless woman’s voice answered him in his ear. “Give the signal. Subdue and secure. Quietly.”

The man looked up and met the eyes of a tall, muscular woman across the room in a sparkling red dress. He just nodded once and she nodded back. She, in turn, caught the eyes of another woman, exchanging nods, who nodded to a man who had both Helena and Kate in sight.

The four of them moved in toward their targets quickly, quietly, and without either woman’s knowledge. Helena and Kate had no idea they were being hunted.

Making their way through the noisy crowd, both Helena and Kate isolated themselves around the corner behind one the staircases, trying to formulate a plan to get access to the rest of the mansion. They didn’t know that they were doing exactly as their pursuers wanted.

Before they could plan anything, they were silently grabbed from behind by strong arms and heavy, damp cloths placed over each woman’s mouth and nose. Out of sight, no witnesses, no sound... Helena and Kate would be unconscious in no time.

While they struggled to fight the effects of whatever the cloths were soaked in, Kate managed to press the communicator in her ear and make just enough noise behind the cloth to get Hudson’s attention.

“Kate? Kate, what’s wrong?”

“Mmmpph!”

“Kate!”

Hudson jumped to her feet, throwing open the doors to the white van she was hiding within and charged across the street toward the estate. She flashed her badge to several guards outside and they let her through, initially not knowing she was with Kate and Helena.

She pushed her way through the throng of people, a few people staring her way. They saw a tall, pale woman with bright green eyes and long black hair, tied back in a braid. She wore snug fitting blue jeans, brown boots, and an olive green jacket over a black t-shirt. Hudson looked every bit the tough police Deputy she was, with a pouch on her belt next to a holster where she pulled her pistol, gripping it in both hands.

She pushed her way inside and it took a bit of searching but she saw Kate and Helena getting dragged away, unconscious, toward a door at the back of the lobby. Hudson charged for them, raising her weapon.

“Let them go!”

Her shout drew some attention from the party-goers but Hudson was soon surrounded on all sides by security, while the remaining security restored order among the guests. One of them was fast, faster than she expected, and managed to wrench the gun from her grasp and discard the magazine, tossing it away. But Hudson still battled back.

“Let them go, now!” It took four of them to contain her but she kept them back with an incredible fury, shouldering guards to the ground and knocking a couple out cold with solid punches. But more and more guards rushed at her and, finally, six of them had a hold of her limbs and had her pinned on the ground, still trying to battle back.

A woman in a business suit approached them from the stairs, kneeling down in front of Hudson wordlessly and pressing a damp cloth tight to her mouth and nose.

“Just breathe... you won’t win,” the woman said.

“Mmmmpphh! Mmmmpphh... Mmmm....” Hudson was losing strength and consciousness from whatever drug coated the cloth and the woman calmly held it tight until, finally, Hudson passed out. She stood up and grunted.

“You all need better training. There’s only one of her. Don’t make me do that again, idiots. Now... take her to my office and put her with her friends. Don’t let them escape. Understand?”

The guards agreed and dragged Hudson off to the same door that Helena and Kate had been dragged through. In no time at all, the party resumed like nothing had happened and the three women were subdued with surprising ease.

Before passing out, Hudson had one last thought. Damn it... I knew it....

...

The small room was filled with the noise of three mewling and grunting captives, unable to escape their bonds.

All three women had been stripped of their equipment and most of their clothes to boot. Kate wore nothing but her matching black bra and panties. Helena was down to her green sports and bra and panties, both outlined in white. Hudson, meanwhile, still wore her jeans and boots but her jacket with its myriad pockets and her shirt were taken, leaving her torso only covered by a rather fancy blue bra.

They were all tied identically with strong, white rope. Each captive had her hands crossed and tied behind her back, further held in place by the ropes that pinned their arms and framed each woman’s chest above and below their breasts. All of their legs were tied together with ropes just above the knees and at the ankles and they had all been seated in wooden chairs in front of a desk, though no one had come in the room yet.

All of them were gagged too, of course, though each was different. Kate, sitting to Hudson’s left, had duct tape wrapped around her mouth tightly, sealing a small wadded up cloth in her mouth. Hudson had a red handkerchief wrapped over her mouth, holding in another handkerchief stuffed in and filling her mouth. She sat between Kate and Helena in the middle chair, squirming away and scowling.

Helena, meanwhile, had a small white cloth filling her mouth and several strips of thick, black tape covering her mouth to seal it in.

Each captive tightly tied and thoroughly gagged, there was little they could do except struggle. They had yet to be secured to the chairs but all three of them suspected they were being watched so they were hesitant to try and help each other escape for the moment.

A tall woman dressed in a business suit with dark blonde hair entered the room from behind the desk, approaching it with three file folders in hand.

“Mmmmppphh!” the three captives squealed.

“Oh save it,” the woman said, slapping the folders down on the table. “You’ll want to save your voices. Though they’re not much good right now, are they?”

“Mmmrrgghhh!” Hudson growled, thrashing against her bonds. “Lmmt mmmph gmmm!”

The woman ignored her and opened one of the file folders. “Deputy Joey Hudson... fancy yourself a private eye now?”

“Hmmmpph!?” Hudson said, still fighting her bonds.

She set down one folder and picked up another one. “Agent Helena Harper... former Secret Service, am I right?”

“Mmmmpphh...” Helena said, shuffling a bit and squirming against the ropes that held her captive.

The woman opened the last file folder, smirking to herself. “And Kate Rivers. Another little P.I. who likes to play detective. How cute.”

“Mmmmph! Mmm mmmmph!” Kate said, struggling.

The woman smiled and leaned forward on the desk, eyeing each captive.

“I bet you’re wondering what went wrong. How did we know? How could we have captured you?”

The woman stood up straight and walked around the desk, locking eyes with Hudson.

“This one got it right away.”

Hudson’s eyes widened and she stamped her bound feet on the floor. “Dmm mmmt! MMMPPPHH!!”

“Mmmmppphh...” Helena groaned. They all knew it then.

“I see you’re catching on too, Harper,” the woman said. “What about you, cute little play detective?”

Kate glared and thrashed in her bonds. “MMMPPPHH!!”

“I guess you have. Well, may as well say it. You’ve been set up. From the moment you three pretties waltzed in here we’ve had eyes on you. Hell, ears too. And before that. Who do you think sent that guy your way?”

“Hmmmppphh...” Hudson sighed, slumping into her bonds. She had been right from the start!

“I’m sure you’d want to ask ‘why’ but we all know the answer there,” the woman said. “We need you out of our way. Nobody gets in the way of Korlus business, you hear me? Nobody.”

“Mmmmpphh!” all three of them squealed, fighting their various restraints.

“Looks like we’ll need to get you ladies more secure.”

The woman walked back to her desk and pressed a button on an intercom built into it.

“We need to find our guests a more suitable accommodation. Take them to the panic room.”

“MMMMPPHHH!!” all three screamed at once as three large goons entered the room to drag them off, mewling and struggling. The woman smiled again and called after them.

“Don’t worry, girls! We’ll decide what to do with you eventually!”

“MMMPPPHH!”

...

The three captives now sat in a small room, walls lined with steel, and heavy door locking them in. It was a room filled with a few amenities; a large bed, some furniture, a stock of food, meant as the safe room or ‘panic’ room to house the Korlus family in an emergency. Right now, however, it was a secure cell for the three bound and gagged women.

They were all sitting in wooden chairs again, only they had been secured to them. Their other restraints remained but now additional white rope was wrapped around their waists to keep their wrists in place and pin them to the chair. Each woman’s ankles had also been pulled back, forcing them all on their toes, with a rope securing their ankles to their wrists. One final coil wrapped around each captive’s upper thighs to keep them pinned down to their seats.

Of course, they were also in different corners of the room to prevent them from getting any ideas about escaping.

Kate was getting desperate, unable to get out of her ropes, and struggling hard. She took in a deep breath.

“HHHLLMMMPPP! HLLLMMP MMMPH, PLLMMMPPHH!!”

She heard a peculiar sound then and stopped struggling, wondering what it was. It was like a... creaking. Or dragging. Or both?

“Mmmph! Mmmph! Mmph! Mmp! Mmmrrrgh!” Hudson was grunting and growling as she kicked her feet and slowly dragged her chair across the room. She locked eyes with Helena, nearest to the door, and they nodded to each other.

“Mmmmph!” Kate squealed, suddenly realizing what they were doing. “Ymmmph! Gmmm!”

Helena kicked her feet out as much as she could and inched her chair slowly toward the centre of the room. They weren’t far apart, maybe ten feet or so, but their bonds made progress painfully difficult.

Both women growled in frustration as they kept slowly pushing forward. Finally, when they were in reach, Helena and Hudson kicked and thrashed as hard as they could to spin around so they were back to back and could pick away at each other’s bonds.

They both had to rest, the effort exhausting them, but they were closer to escape than they had been before. It might take some time, and they would have to figure out how to unlock the door, but that was an easy task for three smart women. It was just getting free from their bonds that would be the hard part.

Kate, muffled as she was, shouted encouragement and shuffled excitedly in her own bonds. She knew those two would escape. It was only a matter of time. Then, well, they’d be well on their way out this mansion. But that would have to wait. They were all still tightly tied up and gagged, after all.
