There had been enough talk from this up superstar LA Knight. The theme music tilted Cold World would begin to play out of the sound system as the fans in attendance were quick to there feet. All the attention that LA Knight had gained for himself, at the drop of a hat it was all gone as everyone was looking right up at the main stage as none other than Eddie Kingston himself would appear and he was not alone. He had the most dangerous weapon a man like him could have at this moment - a microphone. He marched out onto the stage, his hand waving in the air as he didn’t need any of this bullshit. He didn’t need music, lights or fireworks to blast off for him, he just needed a stage and a microphone and he was ready to go.

“Cut the music, cut all the bullshit! I don’t need a fancy entrance, I don’t need any music, I don’t need any if that SUPERSTAR bullshit. All I need is a microphone and five minutes, that’s it. Kid, your going to want to listen to this. You're going to want to straighten yourself up, smarten up and shut your god damn mouth for five minutes and let me say my piece, because your right. Everything you have said is the TRUTH. At least I got the BALLS to stand here and admit it. My career has been a JOKE. For twenty years I have fought long and hard to get to where I am. For twenty years I have gone to hell and back and do you want to know what I got to show for it – NOTHING. I got nothing at all, other than a broken body and a heart broken mum, but do I stop – FUCK NO. I don’t know how to stop, I don’t know how to throw in the fucking towel, because I love this, I love every single god damn minute of this. I eat and breath this industry and it has chewed me up and spat me out more times than I can count – but I keep coming back for more and here we are. Twenty fucking years with nothing to show. Empty pockets, an empty bank account and a legacy that no one even knows about and your right for taking the PISS out of me. Your right for calling me out on my SHIT. Unlike everyone else, I was content. I just LOVED wrestling – and I know at one point in your sad little SHIT career you loved it once as well. I don’t know what changed and honesty, I don’t care, but I look in your eyes and I see the PASSION has faded and like so many others – you SOLD out. It’s all about the FAME and the FORTUNE for you. It is all ab out using this as a stepping stone. Get a name here and DOORS open for you. I would pat you on the back for that, but I just wanna SMACK your teeth out for selling out. Kid you’re a SPORTS ENTERTAINER and standing right before you, is a WRESTLER.”

Eddie Kingston would lower the microphone for only a moment as he would stare at the cocky and brash young man in the ring. He would hold his ground on the main stage, knowing that if he went anywhere near that ring - he would not have a career in UWF by the end of the night. He was fired up, he was ready to go and he wanted to make an example out of LA Knight, but his mother had always told him. Good things come to those who wait, he could hold on for a few more hours until he got the little shit later on in the night.

“You speak when I tell you to speak, or we’re going to have some problems here kid, some big FUCKING problems. You're looking at the LAST wrestler in this company. If you had giving me my time, shown me my RESPECT and listened – twenty years kid. TWENTY FUCKING YEARS. I have been busting my ass off. Going from town to town, city to city, country to country to wrestle. Never stopping, never resting, always going. Always pushing myself harder and harder. I quit everything to do this. I left everything behind to wrestle – it is an addiction to me, a painful harmful substance that I just cannot get enough off and I love it. I ain’t sour for the twenty years I have done, I am just tired. I am nearing the end and I want something to show for it. There was a time I would have just sat there, let you come out and talk SHIT about me, let you run your FUCKING mouth till the cows come home, but those days are fucking done. Unlucky for you kid. There are no more games from me. No more just doing what I am expected to do. No more just standing at the side and letting little SHITS like you cut ahead of me. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME, NO MORE! I have had my fill. I have done my time. I have paid my dues. NOW IT IS MY TIME. Do you understand me? Now it is my time to have something for myself, to carve out some success. I don’t have a family, I don’t have a partner, I got no children, nothing. This is all I got. This is all I need. This is all that I have ever need and I ain’t having some punk like you walk in here and SHIT all over me. I am here for one thing and only one thing KNIGHT. Do you understand me. Have you paid attention? I am here to be NUMBER ONE. I am here to be the CHAMPION. I am here to have the success I should have had twenty years ago. No more laying down, no more putting people over, all of that is done. THIS IS MY TIME. And I am going to make the most of it, trust me. Tonight, this is NOT entertainment, there will be nothing entertaining about me beating the living SHIT clean out of you.”

LA Knight had a target on his back and Eddie Kingston had made it clear that tonight, this was going to be a fight. He was not going to be fucking around, he was here to win and if he had to put LA Knight in the ground - then who would really even miss him?
