Our scene opens into The Hardy Compound -- Away from everyone else in the world, we find ourselves staring at the imagery of Jeff Hardy in particular. He's seated upon a chair, painting a canvas to join the plethora of other visages before him. Hardy doesn't take long to openly address us, the viewer.

JEFF HARDY:

They say a picture is often worth a thousand words, man. It's the symbolism of the heart inside this artwork that radiates to our very core. Our very foundation. When I look at all my art, I don't just see the countless hours that I've spent upon each portrait -- I see the thoughts that embellish my mind, man. You look over there at the decrepit Soothsayer, and see a being with so much worth, but yet so much agony. (Hardy points to a painting of a Soothsayer wailing.) It's rather funny, because I too feel the anguish of the Soothsayer. For interestingly enough, I too can see into the future. I see the results as if they're a forgone conclusion. Soon enough, I'll become either the WWE champion, or the World Heavyweight champion. A tale for another time, but this week on Smackdown -- I'm going to beat Rene Dupree...

A soft cackle escapes from Hardy as he shakes his head from side to side. Completely adorned with pride. This wasn't the typical Jeff Hardy we had grown accustomed to seeing in recent memory, this was a man on a mission. A man with a goal in mind. Hardy would continue to paint the canvas as his words continued to escape him like a freelance poem.

JEFF HARDY:

Such with the soothsayer's words, comes the wisdom from within, man. See, I look at Rene Dupree, and I see a kid with all the makings of a star. A talent who could be formidable in his DNA. Wrestling has been a model affair with his life. This is what Rene was bred to do. In the scheme of us looking at one another -- It would appear that Rene has the advantage, and yet? I sit here with a briefcase that covets my entire career, and yet? I'm still the underdog. (Jeff slowly shakes his head from side to side.) It isn't that such things anger me, man. It's just a sad affair of the truths of this business -- Men like William Regal, and Chris Masters walk with a proverbial golden spoon in their mouth, ironically enough the same one etched across the breakfast table for you, Rene.

Hardy lifts his head as his gaze fixates over the Soothsayer painting in the foreground. A small cackle escapes from Hardy as he shakes his head from side to side. Clearly no interest in the world at the affair as we know it. Strangely enough, this didn't seem like the typical match for Hardy, but instead something much more. Perhaps this was his true test. The chance for him to truly showcase his worth, against a star with such promise.

JEFF HARDY:

Like a phantom in the night, I look at you Rene with all the respect in the world, but animosity between us rears its ugly head. I know not of what you bring to the table, but what you're willing to do to defeat me. I refuse to allow such actions to carve my niche for your own success. At Wrestlemania, I cemented my career as a future world champion, and a defeat at your hands is a feat worst than death, Rene. I will not, and cannot allow such a thing to happen. (Hardy covers his face as he lets out a yell. Clearly frustration. Could this be his past demons?) 'Cause in this world, we're plagued by our own misfortunes. Our own torture. These demons keep simultaneously coming back trying to screw my world up, and you know what, Rene? I look at 'em, and I etch their visage on these very canvas'. Each and everyone represents a plague upon my soul. Everyone of these paintings have been a terror incarnated across my soul -- And yet I stare at 'em on the daily with a smile on my face. For no demon can keep me down! (A smile slides across the face of Hardy.) When I walked out to Wrestlemania, and I heard the roar of that crowd, Rene? I was saved. The salvation of my creatures resonate through my heart, and my soul -- Through hell, and heaven -- I have been restored into the soothsayer of this business, man. We're all created equal as children, and we adapt for our causes, and for our natures. As I've said, you were created, practically etched for a future in this business, and I admire it. I unfortunately didn't have those strengths. I came into the world to Gilbert, and Ruby Hardy. Two normal people who gave their all to see me succeed. I lost my mother at just nine years old, man. She NEVER got to see me achieve my DREAMS. I regret my mistakes EVERY SINGLE DAY! But I've made up for it, Rene. I've restored my faith in the world with a daughter who shares the same name as my mother -- Her love, and devotion resonates like any needle filled with adrenaline, ever could. You don't get it, Rene. You're just a kid, but for my own kids -- I must do what I must. And defeating you, on Smackdown -- Is truly my own vice.

Hardy would send the brush stroke over the imagery for a few more strokes, before deciding that the product was finished. A small nod would follow Hardy as he would slowly grace his hands across the bottom, signing his signature. He would slowly grab the painting, turning it to the camera to review a rather strange image. The likeness was of a man, with rainbow colored hair. In this case, symbolism would say that was Jeff, himself. While the other had a skull, with blue, white, and red adorned over it. Symbolic in the same pattern of the French flag -- Could this symbolize, Rene Dupree? All indications seem to appear so. One final nod would come from Hardy, as he looked to end strongly.

JEFF HARDY:

I call this one: "The damnation of a Revolution", it's a rather symbolic painting, Rene. As you see the crumbling of your heart, and your soul are met by a cruel twist of fate. At my hands, Rene -- I comically hold your fortune. Like a Soothsayer, I guess you could say, I hold your future directly in the palm of my hands. I know not of what's to come, Friday Night -- I know not of what you're willing to do to me inside that ring, but what I do know is simply this, Rene -- No matter what you bring in that ring, be it your best, or your absolute worst; Jeffery Nero Hardy will stand before you as the victor. I hold no morals in saving you. I hold no complaints for exposing you. I am here to do as I say I will. Forever now, and furthermore -- I am a plague. I am a cancer. I am a future world champion. I am Jeff Hardy. An ENIGMA!

These would be the final words from Hardy as he would stand triumphant, dropping the painting that held his, and Dupree's likeness. His eyes would fixate onto the painting however as it would crumble below his feet. His eyes gazed across the compound as he slowly got onto one knee. A soft sigh would escape, Hardy as he would wipe away the visage of the flag, revealing an eerie statement; "SAVE MY SOUL!" before quickly wiping his hands across the base of painting once more. A satisfied scoff now follows Hardy as he pushes the painting to the side with the rest of the artwork that radiated the scene as a whole. Hardy would grab a blank canvas, as he made his way back to the chair. Starting on yet another painting, as our scene would finally conclude to black, showing the likeness of both Hardy, and Rene. Hyping up what's sure to be an epic match!
