Well - this was not how he wished for his year to end. He once had it all and now - heck now he has nothing. He lost his title, he lost his unbeaten streak, he lost everything in one match, that’s the way it goes or how he likes to put it, that’s how the fact lady sings. Like any good game out there that you play online, sooner or later you're going to get beaten, it’s going to happen and what happens next rests on the your shoulder and your shoulder alone. Do you through a rage quit and blame everyone else other than yourself or do you do what TJP is going to do - do you knuckle down, take a deep breath and get right back in there, because title or no title, he is still TJP and that means he is still the best in the world.

“It is time to see just how good I am. It is time to see if I am the best like everyone says I am. At long last - the great and mighty TJP was beaten and unlike so many others who have been beaten here and lost there titles - I will not tuck my tail between my leg and run away home. I came here to win it all and I am going to do just that when I step back into the right to not only face Cody Rhodes, but to defeat him as well!”

Spoken like a true man, a true gamer at heart. One defeat is not the end, one bad game is not game over for him. You see at long last someone has come along that is at his level, someone has come along that is worthy and he will not rest now until he surpasses that person and has a title once again around his waist.

“Cody, tonight marks the end of your career here. I am sick and tired of you already. I am sick of hearing your boring voice drone on and one about nothing at all. You act like the world owes you a favour. You act like WWEx should be grateful that you are here; trust me no one even cares that you are here. Nobody even knows you are here, that’s how little you matter. I have waited weeks to get my hands on you, and trust me Cody I have been thinking of nothing more than this match. You see I am not in the best of moods right now, you see I feel a little bit - well naked at the moment. I have no title and you know what that makes me - pissed off and I don’t think anyone here has seen me pissed off and lucky for you, you will get to see that come tonight. You are not better than me, nobody is better than me. I am TJP and Cody you will learn the hard way why I am in the main event of the shows here and why you are just the guy that should count himself lucky to be opening the show.”

These were not little white lies he spoke, this was the truth and in times like this the truth was the one thing that hurt the most. TJP was the main man around here and that was going to be proven right once again when he does what he does best, win.

“As you can tell Cody I don’t take defeat to well, it is the one thing that I hate more than anything else. I don’t come into this ring to play around Cody; this isn’t a game for me. You treat this like a pass-time, but I suppose when you have family connections to this business you can be as disrespectful as you want as there will always be a job for you. I got into this ring to win Cody, you may think differently, but each time I get in to this ring I only have victory on my mind. You should know by now I am the type of man that will do anything to win and I do indeed mean anything. I have broken bodies and ended careers and I don’t care how well management and people in power like you, I will end your career in this ring tonight if it means I can gain the victory, the victory I truly deserve. Unlike you Cody I have never had anything handed to me here, I had to work hard for everything. I am not a spoilt brat like you Cody. I was not born a loser. I was not born a failure. I was born a winner. I was born to be the best and right now I am one of the best WWEx has to offer and you will learn that tonight my little friend.”

It was clear, really clear that TJP was not messing around tonight. He had been pinned, something that he swore would never happen to him. Someone had did what others could not and beat him and took his title and now he was going to take it out on poor old Cody Rhodes who was the sorry loser caught in the crossfire.

“In my eyes Cody you are no different from Pete Dunne. You are a joke. An overrated joke that does not deserve to be in this business. I have said this before but someone like you should be carrying my bags, not wrestling me in the ring. You are like Pete in more ways than you know and just like Pete you will fall to your better, you will fall to TJP. I have been longing for this match. You have no idea how slowly these past weeks have dragged in for me. I have been longing to get a hold of you and snap you in my hands. I can see it already. When that bell rings and we square up to one another and you have to tilt your head up to look at me, it is going to sum up your entire night. You cannot match me Cody. Everyone I have spoke to are right about you. You should be begging me not to hurt you, but I don’t listen to scum like you. I want you to know that I am going to hurt you tonight and right now these people here may be chanting for you, but they are only doing it out of hatred for me. Trust me when I break you tonight you will barely hear a peep from these idiots. Why nobody in this entire arena knows anything about you, they don’t care about you; they only go by what I am saying about you. As much as these idiots here hate me, they want to see action. They have paid to see carnage and trust me they are going to get exactly what they paid for. These people may hate me, but they pay in there thousands just to see me get into this ring and beat filth like you Cody. I am a natural born winner and I am a champion. I am better than you Cody. I have always been better than you and after tonight even you will have to admit that I am better than you. There will be no excuses tonight. They will be no hiding from the truth. I am going to defeat you and even you with your head stuck up your own backside you will have to admit that TJP is better than Cody Rhodes. I know that right now you are the flavour of the month in WWEx, but after I defeat you nobody will care about you, it will be back to the depths of obscurity for Cody Rhodes and his elite club. After tonight ends are paths shall never cross with one another ever again. You will continue to be a pathetic nobody that no one gives a damn about and I will continue to be the best damn wrestler WWEx has to offer. That’s the truth Cody Rhodes, that’s the fate that awaits you; deal with it my little friend.”

The truth, the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and god damn the truth hurt. TJP was laying his gwent cards on the table here, he was not holding back, he was going for a crushing victory here tonight before the match even started, he wanted Cody to have all that confidence taken right out of him before he even got anywhere near the ring.

“Without a shadow of a doubt I am the greatest wrestler and champion WWEx has ever had you people will learn to cheer for me. Once I take back my Championship and restore it to its once prideful self you people will have no choice but to admire me, but I am getting ahead of myself, the European Championship comes after I defeat Cody Rhodes. You people still chant for him even after everything I have said. I have told you time and time again that I am going to take him apart in this ring. Cody Rhodes is not the type of man that can fight back against the Real-Main Event. He is not a hero, he does not have what it takes. He is a loser. A man born to lose at everything and I think that’s why you fans like Cody Rhodes so much, I think that’s why you support him instead of me. You see I am a winner and when I look around this arena I don’t see any winners other than myself, I just see a crowd of losers that need to learn manners. You people have made a hero out of Cody Rhodes because he is one of you; he is a loser just like each and every one of you. I am better than each and every one of you. I am better than Cody Rhodes. I don’t fail at life like he does. I am not a loser like him. I am better than him and I am better than all of you people. I don’t have to deepened my voice, speak slowly and drone on and on for hours, I just get right to the point. I don’t waste any time at all like Cody Rhodes. He has that microphone glued in his hands and he uses it like it is his only weapon. I use this microphone to get my point across as quickly as possible. I speak to you people in this ring, because this is where it counts. I speak nothing but the truth and I don’t go on and on. When I say that I am going to defeat Cody Rhodes, you idiots here tonight know that it is the truth, because JTP does not lie.”

TJP would arrogantly smirk and nod his head at his own statement as he continues to talk down into the microphone about this match tonight, this match that he needed to win to start his new year of right.

“Cody a lot has changed in WWEx. You may not know this, but when I first started out here people viewed me as nothing more than a joke, but how times have changed. As the months have gone by, I have made everyone who ever insulted me or doubted me suffer. I have outlasted everyone Cody and I mean that. I have outlasted legends and even out a few of them into retirement. I have changed WWEx in more ways than one. My cleansing of WWEx started all those months ago in my very first match and even to this day I am still cleaning up the mess of WWEx. I am a serious threat and you don’t treat me as that and that my little friend will be what leads you to your downfall. You don’t see me as your equal, when in fact I stand above you. You think you can out wrestle me, that you can run circles around me. Your confidence and arrogance will be what gives me the edge over you. You see when I say I am better than you it is the truth. When you say you are better than TJP it is nothing but lies and all of these people here know it. Cody you are a disgrace to this company. You don’t deserve anything that has been handed to you. You don’t deserve a job here and you certainly don’t deserve to step into the ring with someone as great as me. I am one of the best WWEx has to offer as one of the best I expect decent opponents. You are not a decent opponent Cody. You are not a worthy challenger. In my eyes you are a joke and I am going to treat you as such. Cody if I were you I would get in contact with the hospital right now and have them on standby.. I am going to make you wish you never insulted me. I am going to make you wish you never underestimated. You have no chance of defeating me, do you understand that? I serve a higher purpose Cody. I am here to make a difference. I am here to change this company, to make it great and I will destroy all those in my way. Cody you will fall to me! You are just a message, a message to Pete Dunne. The only thing that waits for you Cody is -”
