Scene One: The First Of Many To Fall

This was it, the start of a brand new show for ICW, this was the start of Breakout and what better way to begin this show by having the man that will soon be crowned the winner, Jack Swagger. He was going to make history tonight, he was in the opening contest and he had a lot to prove, he had a lot to live up to and he was not going to disappoint. He wanted nothing more than to win this match, winning this match would mean he was on the right path to championship glory and we all know that this man desired gold around his waist more than anything else. Jack Swagger wanted to make a lasting impact tonight, he had his eyes set on the victory tonight, he was not coming out here for anything else, he was not going to lose this match, he was going to win it no matter what he has to do, Derrick Bateman is going to get hurt tonight, you can count on that. All eyes turn to the entrance way, it was time for him to come out, it was time for him to make his arrival and allow the people to gaze on the man that is going to be the winner tonight in the first ever Breakout match.

The crowd grow silent as suddenly a theme song worthy enough of an All-American American starts to play, this great theme song can only mean one thing; the arrival of Jack Swagger! The people would raise up, this was the first time they were going to see him come out and get into the ring, this was the first time that Jack Swagger was going to grace them all with his presence. The sound of his theme song drives the fans wild, hating on him and jeer as they wait for the arrival of The All-American American. They did not have to wait long for him, as he arrives; dressed in his usual wrestle attire, but this time he is wearing a shirt that reads ‘Team Swaggaze‘, with All-American American firmly printed on it. He steps out from the back stage area, the fans spotting him as he walks forward, a small smirk on his face as he moves forward, he remains perfectly still for several seconds as at the right moment he drops down to the ground, the palms of his hands hitting the cold ground as he does exactly five push ups in record time while he is on the ground his impressive display of fireworks go off. You could see that he can easily do more, but he does not want to show of to the people, he does not want to perform to much in front of them, he is only out here to talk about his first ever match in ICW. And as he gets up to his feet, we cut to the announcer’s desk for a moment.

Ladies and Gentleman history is being made tonight, Jack Swagger will step into the ring tonight with none other than Derrick Bateman. Both of these two fine men are fantastic athletics and they will be looking to gain an important win tonight in the first ever match in Breakout.

I expect great things from these two and this match is going to be an eye opener. My money is on Jack Swagger, as we have seen over the last few weeks, he and Daizee Haze have bonded and it seems that Daizee Haze is going all out to train Jack Swagger up and make sure that he will be the one walking out with the win tonight and then eventually being crowned the winner of Breakout.

This is the first of many challenges for Jack Swagger, as we have seen in the past Derrick Bateman is no push over, Jack Swagger is indeed going to have his hands full with this man, this is not going to be a walk in the park for The All-American American.
We cut back away from the announcers desk as Jack Swagger starts to walk forward, making his way down to the ring. He moves his hands upwards and curls them into fists as he smashes his hands against his chest several more times as he moves forward. He grabs his shirt that he has on him and pauses as he gets near the ring, he spots a fan of his, holding a sign that reads, “Team Swaggaze!”, a small grin appears on his face as he pulls the shirt of ands hands it to this lucky fan, this was the moment of his life and he surely was not going to forget it any time soon. With that kind gesture being done he walks up the steps and gets into the ring, he runs and climbs up the turnbuckle, beating his chest again and screaming to the audience that he is better than them, that he will always be better than them because he is the All-American American. He goes over to the side of the ring, and leans out of it as the Not on this forum ring announcer hands him a microphone, Jack Swagger basically snatches it as he pulls himself out from the ropes and walks right into the middle of the ring. The microphone in his hand he goes to raise it, yet he stops as he licks his lips, the fans were not giving him the respect he deserved, they have not calmed down, they had a chant going, “You Suck, You Suck”. This was repeated over and over again and it was getting on his nerves. He just merely rolls his eyes, not wanting the people here to ruin his big moment. He merely raises the microphone upwards and just cuts them off as he goes right into his speech about is first ever match in ICW.

I have finally made it, I have finally arrived, this is what I have been waiting for, this is what I have been wanting since I made my intentions to come to ICW nearly four months ago. People said that I could not make it here, that ICW only wanted the bets, the most talented people to come and perform for them. People mocked me, insulted me, because I had a speech impediment, people mocked me because my career in WWE took a small nose dive, but I could not understand why they laughed at me, because I was more successful in and out of the ring than everyone that mocked me and more importantly I am better than each and every one of you right here. (He would point his index finger out with his free hand and move his arm in a slow cutting motion, pointing at all the fans that are here tonight, this insult causes him to get some hated insults, but he merely lowers his arm and continues talking.) Without a shadow of a doubt, I am the biggest signing that ICW has ever made, and they have made the right move by putting me on Breakout because I am going to bring in the ratings for them. With me on Breakout, they really have a brand new Kurt Angle on their hands. Granted I am younger, better looking and far more talented than him. I have seen the line-up for Breakout and frankly I am not impressed at all. There is no one as fast as me, as strong as me; there is no one overall better than me. I am the best pure athlete in ICW and the wrestling world in general. Honestly, you look up any of my matches online, any one of them, and you can see that I am not lying; you can see that really I am the best thing to happen here. They need a man like me, someone that can actually wrestle. (A small smile would run across his face as he enjoys talking about himself, taking this small break he would quickly continue on with what he has to say.) I am an All-American-American, they don’t just give that out like cheap cakes from a bakery, you have to earn it and show it every time, and I do that each and every time I step into this ring, my ring! You have to work hard to get the things you want in life, I had to work my butt of to get here, it took me nearly four months to get a contract, normally I am handed everything, but this, this was a challenge and one I enjoyed. ICW made the right move by making me work hard to get here and I am not going to disappoint. I am going to show them why I am going to win Breakout, why I am going to go on and become the biggest star here in ICW, sorry Derrick Bateman, but whatever dreams you had of winning this match and this contest, are now shattered, you have to wake up and see that you have no chance against me tonight.
Jack Swagger slowly lowers his microphone for a minute and looks around, as the fans in the arena start to once more jeer him for once again boosting about how great he is at everything he does, they are all letting him know that they do not like the way he merely talks about himself. The man has accomplished so much and deserves to talk about how great he is when he wants to whom he wants. Jack Swagger raises the microphone back to his lips, and begins to carry on, not caring that he has to speak over the ignorant crowd.

I see that here I am not going to get the star treatment that I rightfully deserve, that I am not going to get my own locker room and my own personal chief, I am going to have to earn all of that, but I guess that when I defeat and humiliate you tonight Derrick Bateman you may be lucky to get a job from me….carrying my bags. You honestly think that you have a chance against me, you have no experience wrestling someone like me. You may have had a good mentor in WWE, but here your stuck with Dolph Ziggler and you are going to go nowhere quickly. In NXT Daniel Bryan made you a star, he made you look good and to be honest Daniel Bryan can make anyone good, even The Great Khali because he is a great wrestler a bit like me. I can make you look good in that ring against me, but I am not going to do that. I am going to show people what you really are, I am going to remind people why you didn’t win NXT, they need to know that you failed in NXT and you’re going to fail here in Breakout. (He starts to laugh lightly as he moves a little around the ring, walking as he keeps the microphone up at his mouth so the people in the arena and continue to hear what he has to say.) You think you can win tonight, you think that your pro has anything to teach you, you think Dolph Ziggler is going to help you become successful. Granted Dolph Ziggler has done well for himself here, but that’s only because I have not been here to take all the glory for myself, but that is all going to change. You have to remember, Dolph Ziggler is good at winning midcard championships, but he can never truly get the job done with the big ones, what he held The World Heavyweight Championship for nearly twenty minutes, that an insult, it’s insulting that he is recognized as a former World Heavyweight Championship, me on the other hand, I defeated great men to win my World Heavyweight Championship and I even managed to hold it for an impressive eighty-two days, and I did that all on my own. I did not have to start of in some terrible contest, I did it all with my natural skill, and here in ICW I get to humour myself by competing against pathetic excuses of wrestlers like yourself. I am better than this, I know I am, but I am all about making history and tonight on Breakout I am in the first match ever for this show and I am honestly not going to waste this opportunity to make an impact, I am going to show you all why I am an All-American American and the best in ring athletic Breakout has to offer you, I am going to steal the show tonight, no doubt about it.
For the second time this evening Jack Swagger pauses, mainly just to gather his thoughts for a minute. The crowd jeer at him not wanting to hear anything else he has to say to them, they are sick of listening to him already, sick of anything he has to say to them. As he brushes his chin with his wrist he takes the time to collect himself before he wishes to continue on. He takes a few steps round the ring before talking when the noise has settled again, all these fans are merely showing there arrogance towards him by cutting him off when he speaks.

Derrick Bateman I am out here running you to the ground, I am out here insulting you, but I know that I cannot ever let my guard down, even to a failure like yourself. I have to focus tonight more than ever that’s why I am going to go all out. I have faced better men than you, from The Big Show right down to Rey Mystero, I faced them and defeated them from time to time, but in big matches at big events, a let my game slip and these two idiots defeated me. I am much younger and have a far brighter future than both of them, but I still was defeated by a fat giant and a banged up crippled Mexican. Do you have any idea how it feels to be pinned by people like them, they are undeserving of championships and main event spots, they are old and way past their prime, there glory days are way behind them and to lose to them, it is just the worst, that’s why it is never going to happen to me here in ICW, I know my limits, I know who I can defeat, and Derrick Bateman, I know that I am better than you. (You could sense the frustration in his voice, talking about his defeats at the hands of useless wrestlers like Big Show and Rey Mystero, yet he does not linger on those two for much longer as he continues.) Derrick Bateman I know you have talent, I know you respect this business and you want to make it. Everyone young boys dream is to be a wrestler, to win the title and to make it to Wrestlemania, and make a name for yourself. I was like that, I was that guy once, I was like Derrick Bateman. I burst onto the scene knowing that I had to make an impact. You want to know how I did that, you want to know how Jack Swagger made an impact. I never went to the big show first, I never went to Raw or Smackdown, instead I wanted to have a practice run, to test my limitations. I went to ECW and started beating the hell out of guys like Derrick Bateman! I started to attack and sideline the veterans of the sport, even beating them on my Amateur Wrestling Challenge. I had it in for the old guys, they should not be in this ring, when there time is up, it is up and ICW is the worst for having these OAP’s. guys like Sting and Kurt Angle no longer have a place here in the ring, it is just sad to see them try to perform. When in was beating these so called veterans I also went undefeated for a long time and trust me in this sport that is no easy thing to do. I went on, winning matches, and then it happened I defeated Matt Hardy and claimed my first World Championship and I did it easily. It was just way to easy, from the very start I was groomed to be champion, and it did not take me long to go through the challengers, to defeat all the competition and to then knock of the leader, I defeated the lead guy in ECW and replaced him, and I added the world championships to my impressive collection of trophies and other accomplishments. With this championships I went on defeating everyone and then suddenly I slipped up and my undefeated streak in singles competition may of ended on the February 3rd episode of ECW , but I had made my impact. I had made my name. Everyone knew the name of Jack Swagger. I was on the radar, I was on the map, people know my name, they knew that this guy right here was going to be big. Jack Swagger was going to lead the company and be the greatest wrestler of all time, and people I have done that, I have surpassed everyone, people compare me to Kurt Angle, don’t insult me, I AM BETTER THAN HIM. I am better than each and every one of you people here. Anyone that gets into the ring with me, will tap out, no word of a lie, send down Hulk Hogan, he will tap out, send down Jeff Hardy, stoned or normal, it does not matter because he will tap out. Send down freaking Kurt Angle and I will make him tap out, it does not matter who you are, I will make my own damn Grandma tap out if I have to, because I am going to do great things here, and no one is going to stop me from winning Breakout!
Jack Swagger once more takes another minute to pause and collect his words. The mention of what he has done in the past brings a nice smile to his face. He has done so much, defeated so many people and now he has a fresh slate to once again do it all over again. When his smile disappears then and only then does he speak.

I take on look at the people on Breakout and I am shocked, poor excuses of wrestlers and an over all pathetic line up, but I guess they need enhancement talent to make a guy like me look even more great, if that where possible. You see, we already know what the outcome is going to be tonight and for this entire show as well. I am going to steamroll right through Derrick Bateman and then defeat every other rookie as well and if there pros want to get in the ring with me, then the more the better. I am hungry to impress management here. I want them to know that the man that stole the show at two consecutive Wrestlemanias can deliver here in ICW for them as well. I want them to know that they have a future champion under contract, because it is not going to take me all that long to win my first of many championships. When Breakout is done I will win my prize and continue onto the main roster and do what I do best, breaking ankles and gaining more fame and expanding on my already impressive trophy collection. Everything I have ever done, I have giving it my all, I have always went in with one hundred percent and I have always walked out the victor. No matter what it is I give my all, that’s why I am successful, that’s why I have championships, medals, awards and countless trophies to gaze at in my house. My wife is always kept busy cleaning them and polishing them and each week I am always award or winning something else. You see I was born a winner, winning is what I do, I rarely lose, and I have no intentions of losing to people who are below me. Derrick Bateman you are below me, like I said, you should be carrying my bags, lacing up my boots, bringing my energy drinks. You should not be in the ring with me, how you managed to get a contract is beyond me, they must of just been handing them out to anyone that wanted one, but I suppose any decent wrestling company needs jobbers, needs losers like you. You’re never going to make it here man, you’re never going to your foot in the door because you’re not going to make it past me. I am going to beat you down, I am going to break you. You’re going to be nothing when I am done with you. You have no chance against an All-American American.
Jack Swagger opens his mouth to continue, but is cut off by the crowd, he was going full on rage mode there; he was really getting into what he was saying. His blood was flowing it was on fire, he was in the head of the moment and he was cut off again. Raising his microphone again to finish up; he can sense that his speech is starting to run dry.

You people may not like me, you may not respect me, but you will learn to get used to me because I am not going anywhere. I have the best pro on Breakout, I am tipped to be the overall winner and when that happens you’re going to be seeing a lot more of this face, these rookies have no chance against me because they are lacking swagger and no one has Swagger like Jack Swagger!
Jack Swagger lowers his microphone and sets himself up for his signature taunt! He drops the microphone and then thumps his chest with his left hand and then his right. He bows out of the ring and starts to head backstage, he has made himself known. He has said what he wanted to say, he is fired up for his match, he is going to bring nothing short of his A Game, tonight is going to be a good night for The All-American American, Jack Swagger!
