KINGS DON’T TAKE COMMANDS…
He had made a deal with the devil. He had pulled himself out of the chopper. He had left whatever remained of his men to burn to ashes and he limped his way to that hole in the sky. He was not about to miss out on all the fun. He was thankful he was insane, seeing what he saw and not even blinking an eye – he had saw the one who had caused all of this, the woman who was creating monsters and destroying the city – seemed like someone he could get along with,
HE MADE A DEAL
He made a deal with the monster, to sell out the squad in exchange for everything he had lost. His kingdom, his fortune and his title as king of Gotham City – he wanted it all back and the price was simple, the suicide squad – there powers and weaknesses – all of that except for Harley – he wanted her as his Queen, that was the footnote in the contract and the witch agreed.
Now he was back in his kingdom. Now he was back on top. Now he was king of all. He had power, so much power. No one could touch him ever again, not even Batman would be foolish enough to try and bring him down, yet the power in exchange for Harley friends had changed the relationship. She was not a pushover, she was not a punching bag, she was not eye candy and something for him to strut around and show off, her title of queen was deserved, she was turning into a queen in every sense of the word and a king such as him didn’t care to share his power.
“WhAt ArE yOu DoInG?” The king commented as the woman had pinned him against the wall. He looked to his left to see her arm blocking any chance of an escape and he looked to his right to see her other arm doing the same, she was close, close enough that she could smell the drink from his lips. He narrowed his eyes as his back was pressed against the wall – could he take her – could he beat her – he was good – but she was better than him, stronger than him – his grin only grew – is this what it felt like to be prey.
“ArE YoU StIlL MaD At Me?”

baby blue eyes sparkled in nothing but annoyance for the first couple of… MINUTES, after she had found out what her KING had exchanged her freedom for. The bargains with the witch were not always fair, she did not always stay true to her word and Harley wondered quite often if this time — the Joker made a fair deal.
she found nothing to be quite pleasing as being able to once again dive into the arms of her lover. To be able to loose herself in his touch, familiar & intoxicating scent, the magnificent METAL grin that welcomed her back. It was ( HOME ) in the easiest sense of the word. It was where she felt safe and loved, where she belonged.
“Yes.” Harley replied once she was able to find the King and sneak up on him quietly enough to pin him down. Her pale hands caging in the taller, a little bit bigger man. How could she exchange lives for another so quickly and effortlessly? Despite her being more than happy with the life she got back, with the position they held again, there was still a string of guiltwrapped around her heart for the friends she had LOST.
“They were my friends, PUDDIN’.” The blonde pouted, her tone slightly whiny as the two sides of her mind battled against each other. “—did they really have to die?”

You make a wish with a witch you have to pay the price. He knew that better than anyone else. Nothing in this fucked up world came free. Superman opened up the flood gates. He revealed to the world that he and others stood on a higher platform, that the humans just got kicked back down the food chain. No one kicked him back, he would not give up his power. Anyone could be killed, he has proven that time and time again, no matter how smart you may be or how powerful you are – he can BREAK you – he can KILL you.
He wanted his crown back. He wanted his kingdom back. He wanted everything he had earned back and the price where the souls of Harleys friends. He accepted without even consulting her, they were NOT her friends. The only friend she ever needed was him – she didn’t need anyone else.
“WhY?” He would tilt his head for a moment to the side. He was the one who spent a fortune finding her location. He was the one who attacked a Wayne Enterprises Location and butchered everyone there to get the tools to set her free. He was the one who hijacked a government chopper. In his eyes he should be the one angry at her. While she was being a team player, he was doing the hard work. Those friends – where only trying to hitch a ride with her – he should have popped all their heads when he had the chance.
He had forgot how could she was. She snuck up on him without him even noticing and pinned him down. He was at her mercy. Any sane man would tell her whatever she wanted to hear for freedom. Any other man would have pleaded for mercy, she could have killed him, the fact that he has not been struck and crimson was not escaping meant that she wanted to talk before any real FUN started.
“WhY Do YoU CaRe AbOuT ThEm? ThEy WeRe UsInG YoU.” His smiled never faded as he told her the truth – his truth – the only truth she needed to know. He could not understand why she deemed them her friends. Had he exchanged them for her freedom or safety, or had he done it to take away any rivals – had he sold them all out to the witch, out of jealous and greed for her.

the two sides of her mind, two little voices within her head, seemed to be arguing constantly these days. Ever since she found out what price the people of her team had to pay in order for her to get back to the wonderful palace with little pawns doing whatever she asked for and the KING at her side.
Once voice argued about the entire thing being completely reasonable. That her Jay loved her above everything else. That it was incredibly ROMANTIC of him to spill blood in order to get her back. After all, this was what she wanted, was it not? To return to her Puddin’. To go back to her silky dresses and golden chockers. This was a life worthy of a QUEEN and she fit it perfectly.
But then, there was the other voice. The voice that seemed almost awfully too familiar. As if someone from her past, from her other life, kept whispering into her ear. Someone with an actual moral compas within their head - but it could not be, could it?
“They were not using me.” Harley said, glaring at the handsome man standing in front of her, slapping at his arm in an almost childish manner. She would not take lightly to her Jay insulting her friends, even if they had barely known each other for a week at most. She had grown quite fond of them. Especially Diablo. His pyro tricks were THE BOMB!
“You’re lying to me, Puddin’.” The blonde pointed out, her face now awfully close to Joker’s, the tip of her nose brushing against his. She knew how to read her King, a Queen always knew what her lover was thinking about - and this situation was no different “And I do not like being lied to.”

He had given her everything. He had freed her from her pathetic life. He had taken her hand and pulled her out of the darkness, without him she would be nothing. She would still be that intern earning a small wage, content with being a nobody, fulfilled with simple pointless tasks. He changed all of that, flipped her world upside down and gave her everything she had ever wanted.
He had killed for her. He had killed those most loyal to him. Men and woman who had served him loyal for years, he didn’t hesitate to kill them if they had wronged her. If that made a remark about her, if they lingered on her for far too long. He had killed for far less sins – she should have expected this reaction from him.
He kept eye contact with her, never breaking there gaze. When she moved her head, he moved his to mimic her. She had him at his mercy. She had trapped him, cornered him. There was no one coming for him, he had no weapons, he had no tools, she had picked her moment perfectly – she set a trap and lured him into it and he had fallen for it.
“YoU WeRe A FrEe RiDe OuT Of ThErE.” He didn’t break contact as she would strike him, it was playful - soft and gentle – done not to harm him at all and that meant that she was coming around to his way of thing. To his view on the matter of her so called friends.
He knew she was holding back. No doubt she would have liked to have slammed his head against the wall and beaten him. To leave a mark on him for every one of her friends he had killed. The witch had taken them all – he even tossed in the soldiers as a good will gesture to the witch.
“OoOoOoH –” He managed a chuckle to escape him. She had grown fond of those people and he had taken them all away from her. They were using her, they were all in the same situation, they all had those collars, they all had to obey like good little servants – the only difference was that she had someone working on breaking her out of the mess she was in – no one was coming for any of them – they latched onto her, dug there claws into her in the hope that she would safe some of them when the time came.
He had seen this a thousand times before, the games she played with her prey. Her nose brushed against his own, but it was not done to be playful, she was getting close to read him, to look into his eyes and see if he was telling the truth or if he was stringing her along. “YoU ThInK ThEy WoUlD HaVe GiVeN A ShIt AbOuT YoU WiTh OuT ThOsE CoLlaRs?” The king questioned with a small shrug– she had the means of turning the collars off, of stopping their heads going POP –
