He had been out traveling for what seemed like days now and to be as honest as possible he was lost and he had no idea how to get home. He had set out to make his mark on the world, but he didn’t truly plan it out. In this kingdom the towns and cities where so far apart that without a map you would get lost easily. This is what happened to him, he was lost and he had no idea where he was. Cutting through a dark forest he would come out the other side as his eyes widen as he finds what looks like to be an old run down farm of some sorts.
He hops over the fence with ease as he then walks across the field walking right up to the barn house. The house look like it had been empty for years. It looked like it was falling apart, the windows were smashed and when he knocks the door there was no answer. Again he tries and nothing happens as he shrugs and turns and walks to the barn. Pushing the door open and looking inside again he found nothing at all, the entire place was empty. He turned around and looked pretty annoyed. He had not eaten or drank anything for days and this was his one hope of getting something. Then he saw it, his eyes lit up as he spotted a well just near the house.
He walks over to it and stands beside it. Just like the house the well had seen better days. The stone was chipped and broken; it looked like some sort of creature had given it a powerful kick, several times in fact. He would take hold of the rope that hung out of the well and he used all of his might and pulled it. He felt at the end of the rope was bucket. Licking his lips he would continue to pull as he pulls the bucket out from the well. It was full of the most fresh water he had ever seen and without even thinking he would lift the bucket of water upwards and drink as much as he could, pouring the rest of it over himself to cool himself off. The water felt great, it was refreshing, but as soon as he drank it and poured it over himself, he didn’t feel right, he felt odd.
He felt a sharp pain in his backside as his spine extended almost straight away, the seams of his pants would give way as a tail shot right out. It flickered in the wind and smacked him in the back of the legs as he jumped up in shock and paid. He turned around to grab it, but got a shock as he heard a massive clop sound as his new hooves in-closed upon his tail. He would pull back what used to be his hands and looked at them it utter disbelieve. Then he felt his shoes become loose as he stepped backwards, what was once his feet came straight out of his shoes as there just like his hands was a bare of hooves, he falls forward onto his the front pair of his hooves and with little effort he turned around and delivered one swift kick to the well with his new hooves, taking a big chunk out of the well.
He was panicking now as he managed to turn around and again and balance himself up onto the well. He coughed and it sounded neither human nor donkey as he was shocked at what was happening. He then felt burning on the top of his head as he then felt his ears lengthen and move up to the top of his head. The wind blew hard against them as they peeled back as again he coughed. His spine then started to reshape. Snapping him into a four-legged position, but he fought it with all his might and remained balanced against the well. He felt his mane growing down his back, the brown fur then setting in as well, as his trousers then ripped to pieces as his legs then changed to a thicker shape as he screamed once again as his face stretched outwards.
His fur then grew in as his shirt ripped off him and fell to the ground around him. What had been a man mere moments ago was now nothing more than a donkey. He would then loose his balance as he falls onto all four of his hooves for the first time. He would then buck, kicking his back legs about, smashing the well to pieces as he tried to all out for help, "AW-EE-HAW!” Nobody could hear him and nobody could help him. All that remains was a confused little donkey in an empty farm. The donkey would run of, running as fast as it could away from this place that robbed it of its humanity.
