It was like nothing I could ever describe, my bones would crunch and snap into place, this was far from over. I feel a ripping sound in the back of my jeans as my tail bone extends, the skin stretching and the brownish/greyish fur covering it in seconds as a long busy tail rips out and rests casually in place. The pain of all of this, will it ever end, will it ever cease, what have I don't to deserve such a tainted faint.

My eyes narrow in pain, the fur covering ever part of my body, my clothes, straining and ripping, my body is growing slimmer, but the clothes are not going to be staying on me for much longer. I know what is coming next as I close my eyes, my jaw and nose extending and joining, creating a small fine muzzle as it would extend outwards, as this would happen my ears would start to burn, pulling atop my head and upwards, growing pointed as they would rest upon my head, the sounds of the forest once silent now washing over me causing me to quiver in fear.

The muzzle still pushing outwards until it was complete, my nose turning black and moist, resting on the outer edge of my new muzzle, I could feel my tongue, longer, flatter, my teeth no longer plain, now sharp and jagged, easy to use to kill prey when the time is right, the remains of my clothing slipping, sliding of my form until it litters the ground around me, now all that stands there is a wolf, blood stains dotting his four paws and small patches of his own blood in his fur, ruining and staining the colour.

He would stand there on all four legs, he would move his head backwards a bit, yanking it away from your hand, he listened to what you had to say to him, not to look away from you and he did just that, but because of you and everything you have done to him on this fateful night he now finds himself on all four legs, dammed to be an animal for all time now.

He would stare up at you, his eyes aligning with your own, as he would move little bit closer to you causing you to stagger backwards, it is obvious from his movements that he cannot even walk on four legs yet, but it is also clear that he is very much angry and annoyed with what has happened, not wanting to let out canine whines or barks he would hunch himself down a fraction getting ready to punch on you, is he really going to attack, is he really going to attempt to kill you for what you have done to him?

The transformation was complete. She didn't realize how beautiful a wolf you'd make with rippling thick white fur that stood on end as you stared at her and mimicked the intense rays of the silver moon. Your eyes were beginning to glow just like her own as the light hit you. In appearance you were a wolf but even now as she looked at you she saw the pain and anger in your eyes, the furious stare that foretold an attack. She stumbled back as you moved. Not out of fear but because she couldn't help you, you must learn how to walk on those four legs on your own.

"Before you attack," She said noticing that your hair around your neck was on end, your now sharp and deadly teeth showing through your muzzle as you raised your hackles and bared a ferocious growl. "You must have realized that the pain is going away... but there's something else isn't there... a meaning you didn't have before. You can feel how the moonlight affects you. Can you really attack one of your own kind? Can you really take my life or leave me for dead? Do I really mean so little to you?"

She would not transform. She would make you understand through words and not teeth what it means to be one of the night. A hunter that can watch the world change through eyes more adapt than a humans and even that a wolf's. At night... that's where their true power lies and where they rule. Words would make you think, make you consider what was going on around you... it was this that she held onto... although there was no guarantee that she was right, or that it would halt your paws for long. You were indeed, a wolf of the night and yet with the ideas of a life that was now lost to you.

"Can you really attack me...? Did you forget all the fun times we had? Am I really such a horrible person for wanting you to experience eternal life?" She was saddened by her own words. More than once had she considered what she was doing but it all came down to the same thing... it wasn't a curse, it was amazing. It would hurt but it would be worth it.

It was an odd feeling, everything he once was had been stripped away from him in a heartbeat, the only part of him that was himself was the bracelet that remained attached to his right front paw, everything else lay in tatters around him, his humanity summed up in the shredded clothing that lies all around him. He would just stand there on his shacking four legs, his eyes locked onto her own as she would step backwards away from him, was that out of fear or was it to clear the space between them as she has figured out that he cannot really do anything right now.

He would just remain there and listen to what she has to tell him, was it desperation, was she trying to stop him from attacking, or did she really mean what she was saying to him, did she really mean everything that was coming out of her mouth, about how he cannot attack one of his own, even though she is the one that took his humanity away from him without permission, without even thinking correctly about his own feelings.

Continuing on with your speech, he would stay his ground and listen to you, listening to the words that come out of your mouth, to be totally fair he is still annoyed at you, he has every right to be, you took something away from him without thinking rationally, but what you say is true and through the actions you have done he has gained immortality. He would sit down, unable to fully control his four limbs it would be best for him to remain grounded, he would just look on into your eyes, still hatred, still annoyance within them for the actions you have done.

He would tilt his head backwards, opening his muzzle and he would bellow out a loud and sorrow filled howl, it would send chills up your still human spine as she would stand there, he howls for everything he had gained and lost, all in the space of several hours. The sorrow filled howl would travel far and wide as when he was done he would lower his head and just continue to stare at you, contemplating what he should do now.

She let out a sigh of relief as you sat down, realizing now that it wasn't your body's reaction to your rage but to the transformation. Knowing this she tentatively moved forward. But stopped as your raised you head to the moon. Your howl, at first, frightened her and she halted in mid-step. She listened to the sorrow of your voice, the loss, the pain and when you had silenced your howls and bowed your head she knelt down in front of you. This time, she did not attempt to touch you but calmed down her wolfish attitude and begun to act more like her old self.

"Remember those movies we used to watch with vampires and werewolves... didn't you tell me more than once that you would have loved to have been a part of that world? This is just the beginning... there are more amazing things to come. This world isn't without colour... and you may think that right now it's horrible but it's not. Look at me, I was able to walk around everyone without fear of the moon or attacking anyone. For me, I've learnt control. It was how I met you in the first place... but you've got to learn control before you can hope of being around others. As soon as the moonlight hits you, you're going to change."

She sighed, reaching out and scratching your muzzle. "I can't help that. It won't be as painful as tonight was, it will be better... and it's fun... you've yet to see how fast we can run." She grinned and stood back up. She morphed right in front of your eyes, changing into a large wolf with chestnut and wood brown fur. It was thicker than your own but not as silky or shiny, although it shimmered slightly in the moonlight. It was a fluid transformation that took little time. Her complete bone and muscle structure had changed and her body tingled with the rapid shift. She was more thin and lean that you with smaller ears. She playfully nudged you in the side with her head to try and get you back onto your feet like a wolf trying to teach a pup to walk.

She would move lightly towards me, and I watch and listen as she would cast her eyes upon after I finish giving my first full howl, to be honest my body was tingling after it, new senses, new feelings, it was all oddly fascinating to be honest. Kneeling down in front of me, her hands at her side as out of fear she will not attempt to touch me again as she looks me in the eyes and talks to me in her normal tone.

Why is it that when I'm so high on my life, everything went wrong for me, everything was going so well in my life and now this has happened to me, changed forever, cursed for a life time and for what, what reason was this for, what was my purpose now, to be just a common animal, another member of the pack.

Now I have been reborn. Born once again to run and love and hunt and howl and see and feel and to be with another, it was weird and I was not liking it at all. I would be lightly taken off guard as her hands reached out to me as she would scratch my muzzle, and oddly I find myself pushing in to her hand and lightly upset when she moves back from me.

It was so fast, before I knew it she was there in the form that she had used to hurt me, to curse me, I wonder now, that will I understand her, how could I understand even as she has lost the usage of speech much like myself, this was all terrifying new to me and it would seem that I was going to have to learn quickly if I wanted to survive in this place I had little to no choice in calling home now.

She playfully nudged me in the side with her head to try and get me back on to my feet she was literally like a mother wolf trying to teach a pup to walk. It was embarrassing yet true as I complied to her wishes and struggled and got up on to four legs, my head would lower as I stare down at these four paws, letting out a small whine as I would simply wait for a minute, waiting to follow her lead.

She knew that speech was out of the question when they were transformed but there were a lot of methods of communication that didn't involve speaking. By the tone of your whine, by your body language she knew you would not act on your own, you would have to follow her movements. She wagged her tail happily as you got onto all fours, her eyes warm and gentle, a contast to her dangerous form.

With a swish of the tail and the soft wind tossing her fur about, she turned her head, smelling the scent of the air. It was floral, something with open fields. She closed her eyes and started walking ahead of you, in the opposite direction of the scent, further into the woods. One foot after another, the claws scratching over the earth, the padded paws soft cushions against twigs, rocks, and the hard ground. You had to rely on instinct. Human values and codes no longer applied in this form. A hunter of the night, a demon on a full moon. To live forever without emotional connections other than those in your pack.

Seeing you understand the concepts of walking she sped up, her paws bounding over the forest floor. She didn't need to look back to see where you were, she could hear you; your steady breath, the thudding of your paws over the ground, and the wind as it whisked around you. She howled when you caught up to her in excitement. You wanted to go faster, she wanted to race through the woods like a flickering shadow. Another howl from the both and them and they flew through the woods, gaining speed with every passing second.

She could think clearly now, with trees passing by as nothing but a blue, and whined softly, her thoughts on your family. But there was still time. This wasn't the end. You would not age but there was no need to. You are old enough to spend 5 or more years with those that you love. This transformation isn't the end, but the beginning. Strange at first, obsurd the next second, and unbelievable even after all the evidence has been laid out before you. Being a wolf is the easy part, allowing room in your human brain and heart to accept it is even more difficult. If you let it destroy you, there will only be death. The two cannot exist in opposing forces. Either you give yourself into it, or you cause your own destruction. Knowing this she wondered if she did what's right rather than what she wanted. But it was both...

The moon shimmered across the water and glowed in the darkness. It's light rays spreading across the vast ocean of woodland. Every where wolves were waking up, howling to the moon, remembering their lives as humans and keeping the moon constantly at their backs to keep them moving forward.
