After the room was dimly lit to her satisfaction she disappeared from the room saying. "I'll be back, just a wait a moment."
It was not a moment nor even five that delayed her return to you. The clock that hung lopsided on the wall ticked away the minutes. The footsteps sounding above carried down the stairs, creaking as she descended then the noise disappeared again. For a while there was nothing but the ghostly winds to keep you company, the lights flickering suddenly as a gust of wind swept in through the open slats in the window. Just as it sounded as though something was moving outside, your eyes met a familiar sight.
Walking into the room, carrying a tray of tea and small cakes, the wolf girl set them down on the small coffee table which harbored most of the candles. She paused as they flickered and walked over to the window to shut it forcefully. There was a snap and a click as he latch clicked it into place. Her eyes lingered out through the window for a moment before she started making the tea. She wanted to talk, she felt like she needed to. But she didn't have anything to say. She was waiting to hear what you thought of the situation, what you were going to do once you had the strength to do it. She shivered delicately at the horrible images that came swirling through her mind but she pushed them away and busied herself once again with the tea.
As she handed you a cup, her eyes met with yours. They were no longer glowing or held anything more than the emerald depths to which she had always had. The light made her look warm, the darkness made her seem rent with malice... as it always had been for her.

He sat there and simply nodded at her as she stated to him that she would be leaving him. His eyes would trail her as she would pace off, his arms folded over his chest as he tries in vein to keep himself warm from the coldness that is seeping through. His eyes darting from side to side as he inspects the house that he is confined to, poorly constructed he might add, but perhaps father time and mother nature have done there dam mage to this place over the years.
"This is no place for someone like her to live in, although it does explain a lot." He would mutter to himself as his eyes stare on at the cracks on the wooden walls.
The moonlight seeping through and touching the old wooden floor, his eyes closing as he would rest, sinking into the sofa as he is drained off all energy. So much has happened to him that everything was blurred. He could not tell what was fact and what was fiction. What really happened out there to him, was he attacked by a wolf, or did he fall and had to have you panic and do first aid.
He would watch as you would come back inside, he did hear something outside, but he shrugged it off as you forcefully slammed the window closed. His emerald eyes would watch you as you come towards him, handing him the cup of tea, his hand reaching for a biscuit as he would lift one up, his finger nails look rather familiar to you in an odd way.
He would take a sip of his tea and lower the glass down, his nose almost immediately began to blacken, his fingers and nails as well as they would unnoticeably to himself grow out and sharpened into pointed claws, his black hair changing colour to a light whitish/gray as his emerald eyes would glance up at you.
"What are you not telling me, you look worried
.please
.just tell me what happened out there, it was all a blur
.was I attacked by a wolf
.what happened?" He would ask as he does not notice what has happened to himself.

The changes slowly starting, the path you wanted chosen for himself and you, to be bound to you on four legs for the rest of his life, never to be human again, a fate that only one true love will accept, even though it may have been against his will.
"If I could give you an explination I would," She replied, her eyes noticing the changes going on with you, a trickle of excitement at seeing this made her momentarily forget what she was saying. She looked back up into your eyes and continued. "Words won't be able to explain it. Words have never been able to explain it. Those cheap interpritations where someone swears that they came so close to death that they saw their whole life flash before their eyes is just silly. You don't see your life... you see faces... but you're changed from it... forever. You were fortunate enough not to be serverly shaken by the events that unfolded tonight... so you are lucky. You will still be you."
She smiled and took a biscuit for herself, munching on it as her eyes traveled around the room, stopping at the now closed window, her eyes focusing on what was outside of it.
"You're not dying," She said almost to herself, still looking out the window, her eyes seemed glued to it. "So you can stop worrying... whatever it was that attacked you won't do it again... not in here any way..." Her eyes glowed for a moment before they flashed back to you. "Just try and relax. You'll be fine by the morning."
While these words were true, she didn't think it portrayed the severity of the situation. Regardless, she smiled a little at the growing black nose as the first signs of the skeleton began to change. She bit her own nail after finishing her biscuit, watching your own nails discolour and if anything, get thicker and more sharply defined. It was a good sign, it meant that you were going to be strong by the size of the claws and the slowness in which the venom was taking hold. To be honest she didn't want to wait and she didn't want to explain it to you, that these changes were normal and not to panic so she instead, sort to distract you away from the transformation growing inside of you.
"I'll be keeping watch over you tonight. Just think of me as your own personal Doctor." She smiled, giggling a little. "And the Doctor says to get some sleep so that you'll be well in the morning."

This was literally one hectic night, I could not wrap my head around the mayhem and confusions that had taken place in this unfortunate place that I find myself in. why did i have to leave the party and agree to come all the way out here to a place like this. I am freezing to death and this tea that she has given me is not helping matters, it is cold and my tongue feels remotely odd when I take small sips, infact for some odd reason my entire body feels somewhat odd.
My eyes would glance up at her as she would continue on speaking, telling me in so much detail what happened, yet she skips by all the key events and keeps it basic so that I do not get alarmed, I am too tired anyway to pay much attention to what she is saying. My eyes glancing upwards as I would watch her as she would continue to talk about what has transpired. Informing me that I have no choice in the matter, that to numb the pain and the tingling sensation within my aching body I was to sleep on this old worn down sofa.
"If you think it is for the best then very well then." I say informally, not wanting to displease her.
I would place down the cup of tea and the biscuits, my eyes drawing to a close as I grow tired, my jaws opening a fraction showing off my pointy teeth as I would yawn, moving my body and laying down on the sofa knowing that with a thumbing head it is best not to argue nor disagree with a woman, especially a woman that is looking after you in her own home.
I cannot feel any changes in my body and what she has said and the looks she have given me has eased me, but yet oddly terrified me in some odd way, it would be best for now to get some sleep, but not for the entire night, a few hours shall do, I will wait until the full moon passes by the centre of the night sky before I wake up, by then hopefully she would have fallen asleep, allowing me the time I need to have a look around this house and try to reveal some clues to what is really going on in this house, this forest and this nightmare I have fallen into.
